Florida Southern College ia an internationally recognized place of beauty and academic excellence. Founded in 1883, it is the oldest private college in Florida. The college maintains its committment to academic excellence through 52 undergraduate programs and distinctive graduate programs in business administration, education and nursing. Nestled by scenic Lake Hollingsworth the campus was redesigned by American architect Frank Lloyd Wright in the late 1930s and grew to be the largest single site collection of his work in the world. Designated a National Historic Landmark, it houses the only theater in the round, only plantetarium, largest water feature and last stained glass window of his career. For two consecutive years we were named "Most Beautiful Campus in the Nation" by the Princeton Review. Our Visitors Center hosts thousands of visitors each year. The Geico Gift Shop in the Visitors Center sells hundreds of distinctive items licensed by the Frank Lloyd Wright Foundation based on Frank Lloyd Wright designs.
